Description

The Valle d'Aosta Torrette of Les Crêtes was born in vineyards located in Vigne Les Toules di Sarre, a high vocation area of Torrette, in the province of Aosta.

It is mainly obtained from Petit Rouge grapes and Mayolet, Cornalin and Fumin grapes, harvested and selected only by hand in mid-October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C, for 8 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 8 months in steel and for further 5 months in bottle, before being placed on the market.

The Torrette Superiore of Les Crêtes is characterized by a ruby red color with violet hues. It opens to the nose with floral hints of dog rose and violet, enriched with fresh notes of ripe red fruit. On the palate it is balanced, full and enveloping, fresh and mineral on the finish.

Ideal in combination with mixed appetizers based on meats and cheeses, this red wine is perfect to accompany first courses, red and white meats.
