Description
The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut by Bosco del Merlo was born in the vineyards of the Venetian company, located within the prestigious DOC Valdobbiadene Prosecco.
It is produced entirely with Glera grapes, harvested during the night when fully ripe and meticulously selected. After the classic white winemaking processes, the second fermentation takes place in steel autoclaves, at a controlled temperature of 16°C, according to the Charmat method and lasts approx. 60 days.
It is characterized by a brilliant straw yellow color and a soft and subtle perlage. The nose opens with elegant fruity aromas of apple and pear, with delicate nuances of bergamot. On the palate it is dry and dry, with a well-balanced persistence.
This Prosecco is perfect for the aperitif moment, also suitable for cooking fish and light vegetable-based dishes, such as asparagus for example.
