Description
Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry Bellussi is obtained from Glera grapes grown in the Treviso hills and sparkling with the Charmat method.
Grown on clayey and calcareous soils, the grapes are vinified using a soft pressing with attention to maintaining a maximum yield of 70%. The base wine obtained from the first fermentation is placed in a pressurized tank with the addition of sugar and yeast to start a second fermentation before bottling.
Straw yellow with golden reflections, it expresses fruity and slightly herbaceous aromas on the nose that turn into a crunchy and intense flavour on the palate, with precise mineral notes and a pleasant refreshing acidity.
Versatile and straightforward sparkling wine, it goes well with appetizers based on semi-mature cheeses, fish and vegetable risottos, but also first courses based on savoury white sauces.
