Adami’s Bosco di Gica, included among the 1001 Wines You Must Try Before You Die, is a Prosecco Superiore that carries with it a rich historical legacy. The name comes from the forest that surrounded the historic vineyards purchased in 1920 by the Conti Balbi Valier, a noble family linked to the origins of Prosecco. These vineyards, located in the heart of Valdobbiadene, were selected by founder Abele Adami for their extraordinary potential. With its bouquet of white flowers and white-fleshed fruit, this wine embodies the elegance and history of some of the most suitable vineyards in the area.

Description

The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut Bosco di Gica di Adami is born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Valdobbiadene, Vidor and Farra di Soligo, in the heart of the Veneto.

It is produced mainly with Glera grapes and Chardonnay grapes, coming from the vineyards of the classic production area. After pressing and cooling the must, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts, at a controlled temperature. The wine is then refined in the bottle for 3 months before being marketed.

Bosco di Gica is characterized by a straw yellow color with a dense foam, with a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it opens with a broad and fruity bouquet, enriched by elegant scents of yellow apple, peach and wisteria. It gives balance and freshness, combined with aromatic notes of great purity. On the palate it is acidulous and savory, fresh and fruity.

Perfect to accompany fresh and light appetizers of fish, seafood and shellfish, it is ideal in combination with delicate first courses.
