Description
The Valdarno di Sopra Petruna in amphora by Il Borro was born in vineyards located on the hills of the Valdarno area, in Tuscany, at the foot of Pratomagno.
It is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes, which spend a night in a cold room. Fermentation takes place in clay amphorae, with maceration on the skins for 11 months in the same containers.
It is a ruby red wine. The nose opens with red fruit aromas and mineral hints. On the palate it is decisive, with balanced tannins and great elegance.
Perfect to accompany typical Tuscan dishes based on red meat, bread soups such as ribollita and legume soups.
