Description
The Vacqueyras by Cellier des Princes is a wine from the Rhone Valley, the result of a blend made with Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes, coming from the vineyards located in the Villages of Sarrians, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, mountains so named for their ridges sharp and reminiscent of lace. This area is characterized by clay and limestone soils, enriched by river pebbles typical of the "garrigues", which give the wine structure and complexity.
The harvest takes place exclusively by hand. After a maceration of 3-4 weeks and a soft pneumatic pressing, the fermentation takes place in concrete tanks with temperature control, followed by an 8-month refinement in the same tanks to soften the tannins.
It has a clear ruby red color, with violet reflections. On the nose, it expresses itself with a bouquet of ripe fruit, strawberry jam, spices and violet. On the palate the wine is soft and rich, with soft tannins and a long finish, accompanied by spicy notes.
This wine is the ideal companion to dishes such as ribeye, porcini omelette, or even chocolate mousse, managing to enhance a wide range of flavors with its structure and distinctive aromatic notes.
