Description
Umbria Grechetto di Còlpetrone was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Gualdo Cattaneo, on the slopes of the Perugian hills.
After the harvest, which takes place by hand, the Grechetto and Chardonnay grapes are subjected to soft pressing: the must thus collected is subsequently cold decanted and fermented at a controlled temperature between 12-15 ° C in stainless steel tanks. At the end of the vinification process, the wine remains in contact with the yeasts for a period of about 3 months.
The Ghechetto di Còlpetrone presents itself to the sight of an intense straw yellow, accompanied on the nose by floral notes. On the palate the wine is balanced and harmonious, with a good structure given by its freshness and minerality.
Ideal as an accompaniment to appetizers and first courses of Umbrian cuisine, such as strangozzi alla Spoletina, it goes well with fish, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
