Description
Umbria Grechetto Colle Ozio by Leonardo Bussoletti is a wine born in the homonymous locality of Colle Ozio, in the municipality of San Gemini, in the province of Terni. This wine is the result of the union of 2 variants of the Grechetto vine, namely the Grechetto di Orvieto and the Grechetto di Todi.
The winemaking follows a careful process that begins with whole bunch pressing and fermentation in steel for 20-25 days. The maturation continues in stainless steel at a controlled temperature for 6 months on the fine lees and is completed with a period of 3-5 months of refinement in the bottle.
It presents itself to the eye with a beautiful straw yellow color. The nose is characterized by an intriguing vegetal and floral bouquet, with emerging notes of cedar and grapefruit. On the palate it is fresh and citrusy with sweetish accents.
It is perfect to accompany fish, shellfish and seafood dishes.
