Description

Birbantéo Surlie is a white wine from Umbria produced by the Mevante agricultural company. The vineyards are located in the municipality of Bevagna, with south-east exposure. This wine is made from 100% local Trebbiano grapes, grown on clay soils with limestone and silt formations.

The harvest takes place manually starting from the first week of October. Vinification and aging take place in French oak tonneaux, with the wine remaining in contact with the fine lees for approximately 15 months. Subsequently, it is aged in the bottle for 12 months before marketing.

Birbantéo Surlie has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it offers delicate hints of white flowers and peach, with balsamic notes. On the palate it stands out for its pleasant roundness, envelopingness, flavor and finesse.

This wine pairs perfectly with grilled fish dishes or white meats.
