Description

The Pinot Gris Élevé en barriques by Lo Triolet is a pure Pinot Grigio, produced by this small company of the Martin family, who lives in Introd, a small village in the Aosta Valley of only 600 inhabitants. The company was founded in 1993 and currently manages 7 hectares of high-altitude vineyards, between 600 and 850 meters above sea level

The grape harvest takes place in mid-September, after which the must ferments in steel vats at a controlled temperature, with a short maceration of the skins. Refinement takes place for 9 months in barrique and 3 months in bottle.

In the glass the wine appears of an intense straw yellow color. On the nose there are hints of particularly fragrant flowers such as acacia and ripe white and yellow fruit. The sip is fresh, soft and quite savory, with a good persistence.

It is the ideal combination to accompany with second courses of white meats, even stewed, and aged cheeses.
