Description
Trevenezie Pinot Nero represents an elegant interpretation of La di Motte, obtained from estate vineyards on the border between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. The name "La di Motte", with "motte" indicating small rises in the land and "la di" meaning "at home" in Friulian dialect, invites enthusiasts to explore this wine excellence that reflects the unique geography and culture of the territory.
It is the result of careful winemaking, starting with destemming of the grapes followed by a 7-8 day maceration to optimize the extraction of color and structure. Fermentation, both alcoholic and malolactic, takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 25-27 °C, maintaining the integrity of the fruity flavors and varietal characteristics.
To the eye it shows an intense red color and purple reflections. Fruity notes of cherry and a spicy background can be perceived on the nose, with delicate traces of black pepper. On the palate it is dry, full-bodied and generous, expressing notable complexity. It is a complex and well-balanced wine, with a long aftertaste that reflects the olfactory sensations.
Excellent in the company of red meats, braised meats and game, as well as with spicy hard cheeses.
