Description
Cabernet Radici d'Italia by Terre Forti is a red wine produced in the north-east of Italy, with selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and other vines. Grown in a temperate climate, which favors the ripening of the grapes, this wine expresses the typicality of the Triveneto area, known for its winemaking tradition and well-drained soils.
The grapes are harvested when perfectly ripe and undergo traditional vinification with destemming and soft pressing. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, preserving the fresh aromas and varietal characteristics of the Cabernet. The wine is then aged in steel for a few months before bottling, maintaining its freshness intact.
Of an intense ruby red color, it offers aromas of berries, especially blackcurrant and blackberry, with notes of black pepper and light herbaceous nuances. On the palate it is full-bodied, with soft tannins and a good structure, which culminates in a long and spicy finish.
Ideal with grilled meat dishes, roasts and mature cheeses.
