Description
The red Cabaletta of Tenute Fiorebelli was born in vineyards located in the province of Verona.
The wine is made from Croatina, Rondinella and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October. The Corvina grapes are left on the plant for a further 5 weeks. The grapes are destemmed and vinified with whole berries in steel vats at a controlled temperature, during which frequent pumping over and délestage are carried out. Malolactic fermentation occurs following the addition of malolactic bacteria. About 25-30% of the wine is aged in French and American barriques for 12 months.
Intense ruby red in colour, the nose has clear aromas of cherries, plums and red currants, as well as pleasant toasted and spicy notes. The sip is soft and full-bodied, with a persistent finish.
