Description
The Trentino Marzemino Superiore of the Castel Firmian di Mezzacorona line comes from the best vineyards of the Ala hills, in the province of Trento.
It is produced with only Marzemino grapes, hand-picked in two steps: the first to be used for a drying period of 70 days in which the grapes mature and release a wide and unprecedented range of aromas, the second left on the plant as much as possible . Followed by fermentation in stainless steel at strictly controlled temperature for both lots, with elevation in steel pending subsequent assembly and refinement in the bottle.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose revolves around intense aromas of undergrowth and morello cherry in spirit. On the palate it proves soft and pleasant, with soft tannins and consistent aromas on the nose that develop in all their persistence.
Excellent in the company of medium-aged cheeses, it goes perfectly with light meat-based second courses, both white and red.
