Description
This Pinot Noir is produced with grapes harvested from the vineyards adjacent to the town of Roveré della Luna, which lie on a pebbly, calcareous soil, particularly rich in skeleton.
The harvest takes place manually and the must is transferred to truncated conical French oak vats for 10-12 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels where the wine remains to refine for 12 months.
It has a ruby red color when young that tends to orange with evolution. The nose reveals intense notes of red fruit accompanied by delicate spicy hints. The sip is of medium structure, elegant and velvety.
To be enjoyed in the company of roast chicken or mushroom dishes. Try it with an orange duck.
