Description
The Trentino Pinot Nero from the Castel Firmian collection by Mezzacorona was born on the hills of Faedo and Pressano di Lavis, in the province of Trento.
It is produced entirely with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins for 4–5 days, in steel at a controlled temperature of 25 °C. Subsequently the wine ages in wood for 6–8 months, before being bottled.
It has a ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The nose opens with enveloping notes of ripe red fruit, enriched with floral hints of violet. In the mouth it is balanced and fresh, with delicate tannins.
Perfect to accompany roasts based on white and red meats, it is ideal in combination with medium-aged cheeses.
