Description
Marzemino is produced by the LaVis winery, founded in 1948 with headquarters in Lavis, in the province of Trento.
The grape harvest takes place at the beginning of October, followed by the vinification in cement with fermentation with selected yeasts. The wine ages in French oak barriques for 5-6 months before bottling.
Ruby in color with violet hues, the aromatic profile on the nose is reminiscent of violets, red fruit with balsamic notes. The sip is dry and lively, with a discreet persistence.
It can be enjoyed in combination with mushroom risotto with pasta with meat sauce or with semi-mature cheeses.
