Description
The Codros red wine of the La Vis winery is part of the company's selection, dedicated to wines that are the result of 70 years of experience. The company was founded in 1948 and is based in Lavis, in the province of Trento.
The harvest of the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes takes place at the end of October, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature in steel vats and aging in French oak barriques for about 18 months, before proceeding to bottling, where it remains for 10 months.
Intense ruby red color, the nose reveals aromas of blueberries and mint, spices such as cardamom and vanilla. The taste is full and ample, with silky tannins and a long persistence.
It goes well with roasts, grilled meats and game.
