Description

We are facing one of the most famous and quoted whites of our peninsula, a true enological jewel chiseled by the craftsmanship of a great vigneron. The Valentini family has been present in the lands of Loreto Aprutino since 1600 and still today is dedicated to viticulture with extraordinary passion.

The vineyards are located in a particularly suitable area, halfway between the Gran Sasso massif and the Adriatic coast. The climate is influenced by the cold air currents that descend from the Apennines and by the mild sea breezes. The considerable temperature variations lead to slow ripening of the grapes with a very rich aromatic set. The best bunches are selected in the vineyard and then in the cellar, before being softly pressed. The must ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in large barrels. The wine is bottled without filtration, after a year of rest in oak barrels of 50 and 70 hectoliters.

Golden in color, it seduces with aromas of ripe yellow fruit, hints of broom, medicinal herbs, delicate spicy hints and memories of flint. The sip is long and deep, rich and savory, with a harmonious finish, characterized by a vibrant freshness.

To be combined with white meats, baked fish, semi-mature cheeses.
