Toscana Rosso IGT Perlato del Bosco 2022 Tua Rita

The Perlato del Bosco Rosso by Tua Rita is a pure Sangiovese that comes from the Alta Maremma, in the area of the metalliferous hills. The grapes come from vineyards that rest on predominantly clayey soils and with a conspicuous presence of skeleton. The company was born in 1984, when Rita and Virgilio bought 2 hectares of vineyards, which over the years have become 30.

Following the manual harvest, the Sangiovese grapes are vinified in steel vats at a controlled temperature. Ageing takes place half in 20 hl barrels, half in 40 hl conical oak vats.

Ruby red in colour with purple hues, the nose opens on berries in addition to spicy notes. On the palate it is well structured, juicy and with smooth tannins.

Ideal in combination with stewed and grilled meats, both red and game.
