Description
Dogajolo Rosso is one of the most innovative wines of the Carpineto company, produced in the hailed or hamlet of Dudda, in the Florentine municipality of Greve in Chianti. It is obtained mainly from Sangiovese grapes, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and other red berried varieties, for a fragrant and deep wine, in which the youth of the fruit, the maturity of the wood and an elegant softness coexist.
Due to the different ripening period, the vinification takes place separately for the two varieties, with alcoholic fermentation started in steel and finished in small wooden barrels. In these containers it carries out the malolactic fermentation and matures for a few months.
It reveals itself to the sight of an intense ruby red color. Pleasant vinous and fruity sensations emerge on the nose, in which cherry stands out, alternating with spicy nuances reminiscent of vanilla and coffee. On the palate it is a full, soft and structured wine.
Excellent wine for roasts and red meats, it can also accompany first courses.
