Description

The 43 of Tenuta Silvio Nardi owes its name to the 43rd parallel that crosses the territory of Montalcino, the birthplace of this wine.

It is produced with Sangiovese, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation and maceration take place at a controlled temperature of not less than 28 °C. The wine evolves for at least 4 months in oak barrels and then continues the ageing in the bottle.

The 43 of Tenuta Silvio Nardi has a ruby red colour. The nose offers an intense and spicy aroma, with well-defined floral and ripe red fruit notes. On the palate it shows a soft attack followed by a firm structure, supported by the right acidity and a strong presence of enveloping tannins.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game. It is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
