Magnetico Pinot Nero in purity from the Castelnuovo Berardenga area, with an unmistakable temper, pomegranate nose, with touches of licorice and eucalyptus. Mouth of tension and density, with a return of pomegranate and balsamic sensations.

Description

Pievasciata Pinot Nero is a Tuscan wine from the young company Valle Picciola, located in the Pievasciata area, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga (SI), where it manages 105 hectares of vineyards following the principles of sustainable agriculture.

The wine is a pure Pinot Noir, harvested in August. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in cone-shaped wooden vats at a controlled temperature, followed by a 7-day post-fermentation maceration. Racking and malolactic fermentation take place in second and third passage barriques, followed by aging in wood for 6-8 months. The wine remains in the bottle for 3 months before being marketed.

In the glass the wine appears of an intense ruby red color with violet nuances. The nose opens on aromas of wild strawberry, cassis and pomegranate. The taste is fresh and persistent.

Ideal in combination with rich antipasti of cured meats and semi-aged cheeses and stewed meats.
