Description
The Monte Ferrato of the Marchesi Pancrazi company is made with Pinot Noir grapes and is produced in the Villa di Bagnolo inherited from the Strozzi family in 1965.
The wine is obtained from the vineyards located at the foot of Monte Ferrato. After the grapes are harvested and transported to the cellar, the must ferments to proceed with a subsequent refinement of 12 months in 3 and 4 passage barriques.
Of medium intensity ruby red color, it displays red and black fruits on the nose such as cherries, wild berries, blackberries and strawberries. On the palate the composure of the fruit returns with smoky and musky hints for a fresh and immediate sip, with sweet tannins and a finish of medium persistence.
Ideal with dishes based on red meats, stews and suitable for aperitifs based on cold cuts and cheeses.
