Description

Boscobruno is a Tuscan wine from the young company Valle Picciola, located in the Pievasciata area, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga (SI), where it manages 105 hectares of vineyards following the principles of sustainable agriculture. The Boscobruno Pinot Noir vineyard is located at 480 meters above sea level

The wine is a pure Pinot Noir, harvested in early September. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place in concrete tanks at a controlled temperature for 15 days. The malolactic fermentation takes place in barrique instead.

In the glass the wine appears ruby red in colour. The nose opens on aromas of small black and red fruits, wild strawberries, cassis and spices. The taste is warm and full-bodied, with silky tannins.

Ideal in combination with rich appetizers of cold cuts and cheeses, savoury first courses, roasted and grilled meats.
