Description
The Tuscan wine Irrosso di Casanova di Neri was born in the unique terroir of Montalcino and is produced with the same care and meticulousness reserved for its older brother Brunello.
Produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected strictly by hand, it involves spontaneous fermentation in open conical steel vats at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for 13 days and frequent punching down.
Ruby red in color with purple nunaces, it releases aromas of small red fruits, raspberry and red currant on the nose, enriched with spicy notes. The sip is soft and enveloping, with an excellent tannic structure.
Perfect to accompany rich salami appetizers and first courses with meat sauce or sausage, it also goes very well with red meats cooked on the grill.
