Description
The Eco di mare white wine is produced by Tenuta Argentiera, so called in memory of the silver mines that were once located in this area of the Upper Maremma.
It is produced from 100% Vermentino grapes, which are fermented for 15 days and aged for 2 months in contact with the fine lees. After 3 months in the bottle, the wine is placed on the market.
It is characterized by a straw yellow color and a nose that reveals aromas of white flowers, pear and apricot, as well as the balsamic note of lavender. The sip is fresh and well balanced, with a savory finish.
It is an excellent wine for an aperitif and goes very well with seafood, from spaghetti with clams to roasted fish.
