Description
Vermentino Chardonnay of Cantina Dal Cero was born in the Montecchiesi estate, located on the Tuscan hills south of Arezzo, on the border with Umbria.
It is produced with Vermentino and Chardonnay grapes, harvested by hand since the beginning of September, after careful verification of ripening. After a soft pressing and the static decanting of the must with the use of selected yeasts, the wine undergoes the alcoholic fermentation process in large French oak barrels for 3 weeks. Then the wine ages in stainless steel containers and rests at least 45 days in the bottle.
This Vermentino Chardonnay is a wine with an intense straw yellow color, with golden sensations. The nose is striking for the fresh Mediterranean hints of hawthorn and rosemary, with hints of mandarin and graphite. In the mouth it is delicate, harmonious and with a finish full of ripe and decidedly savory fruit.
To be consumed in the first years of life, it is ideal as an aperitif and perfect to accompany appetizers and courses based on white meats, fish and vegetables.
