Luca Gardini
Beautiful citrus notes on the nose, peach with yellow pulp, lemongrass, a touch of yellow flowers, closing with classic notes of Mediterranean scrub. Dense, crunchy, savory on the palate, with excellent persistence and a characteristic almond finish.

Description

The Toscana Vermentino di Mazzei was born in the Belguardo estate, located in the Tuscan Maremma on the hills between Grosseto and Montiano, a few kilometers from the sea.

It is produced exclusively with Vermentino grapes, a white grape variety that is best expressed in coastal areas. The grapes are harvested strictly by hand from the end of August and left to ferment at a low temperature.

White wine with character, this Vermentino has fruity scents on the nose, with interesting aromatic notes of yellow peach. On the palate it is pleasantly dry and mineral, with an excellent structure and great softness.

Its characteristics make it ideal to accompany fish soups, grilled fish and seafood. Also excellent as an aperitif, it goes very well with vegetable-based first courses.
