Nose with hints of blueberry, with beautiful notes of undergrowth and lashes of blood orange. Tense and crunchy mouth, iodized-brackish tannins and closing with a return of undergrowth notes.

Description

Tìcche Le Forconate is a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes produced by the Barbanera company.

With soils composed mainly of clay, sand and limestone, the vines are harvested in the second half of September. After a careful selection of the best grapes, vinification is carried out in steel at a controlled temperature between 22 ° C and 28 ° C. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine ages in barrique for at least 12 months.

Beautiful ruby red slightly garnet, has hints of great olfactory intensity with notes of cherry and red fruits. Fresh on the palate and highly drinkable, it has smooth tannins and a medium-long finish with a return of fruity notes and a pleasant spiciness.

It can accompany savory first courses based on meat sauce and aubergine sauces. Excellent to try with cold cuts and aged cheeses.
