Toscana IGT Syrah Tèspero 2019 Carus

Syrah Tèspero takes its name from the anagram of Perseto, the hill on which the Carus estate is located. Produced exclusively with the best Syrah grapes, this wine best expresses the potential of this vine in the valley. The vineyards are located on hilly terrain, rich in alberese and galestro, which give elegance and longevity to the wine.

The grapes are hand-picked and placed in crates to maintain the integrity of the fruit. After harvesting, the wine ages in French oak barrels and then refines in the bottle for six months, thus improving its structure and complexity. The altitudes between 190 and 300 meters and the variable exposure of the vineyards contribute to the organoleptic richness of the wine.

It has a deep ruby color and purple reflections. On the nose it releases complex and intense aromas of wild berries, blackberries, blackcurrants and raspberries, accompanied by spicy and mineral notes. On the palate it is rich, enveloping and intense, with velvety tannins that confirm the olfactory sensations, giving a persistent and full sip.

It pairs perfectly with roasted meats, grilled meats and dark chocolate.
