Description
The Toscana Rosso Spezieri di Col d'Orcia was born in vineyards located on the Sant'Angelo in Colle hill overlooking the Orcia river, in the heart of the municipality of Montalcino.
It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26 ° C for 8-10 days. Subsequently the wine ages in the bottle early to maintain all the freshness.
Spezieri is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens vinous and intense, with pleasant hints of ripe red fruits. On the palate it is full, soft and pleasantly persistent, with delicate and ripe tannins. The wine has a long and fruity aftertaste.
Perfect to accompany red meats and first courses, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
