Description

The Sasyr by Rocca delle Macìe is a red wine of great personality, born from the union of Sangiovese and Syrah in perfect balance. The grapes are carefully selected and harvested at the right degree of ripeness from the vineyards of Maremma, enhancing the distinctive characteristics of both varieties. This wine expresses the unique character of the Tuscan territory, with a modern and enveloping interpretation.

The vinification involves temperature-controlled fermentation aimed at preserving the intense color and primary aromas. The Syrah is aged for at least six months in barrels, one third of which are new, contributing to its complexity and roundness. The Sangiovese, on the other hand, is kept exclusively in steel, maintaining its freshness and liveliness intact.

Of intense ruby red color, it opens with a wide and fragrant bouquet, dominated by notes of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry. On the palate, it stands out for its softness and balanced structure, offering a pleasant freshness and a long aromatic persistence that enhances its overall harmony.

Perfect for pairing with meat and cheese dishes, it is also enjoyable on its own to fully appreciate its sensory richness.
