Description
The Sangiovese In Grandi Annate di Avignonesi is produced only in the years that allow this great red grape variety to be valued to the fullest.
It is produced exclusively from pure Sangiovese grapes. Each lot is vinified separately with spontaneous vinification, with maceration on the skins for a maximum of 30 days. The wine ages in oak barrels, oak tonneaux and barriques for 18 months.
This Nobile di Montepulciano is characterized by a ruby red colour. The nose opens with intense aromas of wild strawberry and licorice, enriched with fine vanilla notes. On the palate it is round and elegant, with excellent persistence.
Perfect to accompany tagliatelle with meat sauce, stewed game and aged cheeses.
