Description

Rubio di San Polo comes from vineyards with a high wine-growing vocation located in Podernovi, in the south-east part of the municipality of Montalcino.

It is mainly obtained from Sangiovese grapes with additions of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested in mid-September. After a traditional fermentation in steel tanks, the malolactic fermentation is carried out, then the aging is carried out for 12 months in oak barrels.

It has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose revolves around pleasant aromas of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it expresses itself on fruity tones in all its elegance and ease of drinking.

Ideal to accompany cold cuts and grilled red meats, it is perfect with seasoned cheeses.
