Description
This Toscana Rosso is produced by the Voliera winery, located in the municipality of Montalcino, not far from Castelnuovo dell'Abate.
The wine is made up of Sangiovese and Syrah grapes, which are vinified separately in thermo-controlled steel tanks with a 15-18 day maceration on the skins. Once assembled, the wine ages in steel and then in the bottle for 3 months.
Ruby red in color, it opens to the nose with aromas of violets, red fruits, peppery notes. The sip is dry and fresh, quite structured and with a good persistence.
Excellent cold cuts and cheese appetizers, baked pasta and grilled meats.
