Description
The Toscana Rosso Villa di Bagnolo by Marchesi Pancrazi was born in the vineyards of the Tenuta di Bagnolo, located at the foot of Monte Ferrato, in Tuscany.
It is produced with pure Pinot Noir grapes, rigorously harvested by hand. The grapes are destemmed and crushed in a modulated way, according to the specific needs of the different clones used by maturity and type. The wine is aged in French oak barriques for 12 months, followed by a further 12 months in bottle.
It is a wine with a ruby red color and intense and persistent aromas, among which hints of red fruits of the undergrowth stand out, such as blackberries and strawberries, balsamic notes of mint and hints of tea. In the mouth it is soft, intense, with thick but round tannins. The fruity and balsamic notes return, with spicy nuances, and the finish is long, quite persistent.
Ideal to accompany red meats and noble poultry, it is perfect in combination with medium-aged cheeses and dishes with truffles.
