Description
The Toscana Rosso Vigorello di San Felice was born in the San Felice vineyards located in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga (SI).
It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pugnitello and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested between the first week of September and the first week of October, depending on the type. Fermentation takes place in contact with the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30°C for approximately 20-25 days. Subsequently the wine matures for approximately 24 months in barrique and for a further 8 months in the bottle.
It is characterized by a ruby red color with garnet shades. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of blackcurrant jam, sweet spicy notes and undergrowth. On the palate it is warm, complex, tannic, with light hints of vanilla.
Perfect to accompany roasts and grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with mature cheeses.
