Description

The Toscana Rosso Tinata di Monteverro is born in vineyards located in the Grosseto municipality of Capalbio, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.

It is mainly produced with Syrah and Grenache grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in September. Fermentation takes place naturally in stainless steel tanks and barriques, separately, parcel by parcel. Subsequently the wine ages for 16 months in French oak barrels and for part in egg-shaped cement tanks.

The Tinata di Monteverro has an intense ruby red color, with a purple nail. The nose opens with elegant aromas of cranberry, melon and cherry, with floral notes of tulip. On the palate it is soft and velvety, pleasantly fresh, with hints of cherry, berries and tobacco.

Perfect to accompany first courses and red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
