Description

The Toscana Rosso Terra di Monteverro is born in vineyards located in the Grosseto municipality of Capalbio, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.

It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place naturally in stainless steel tanks and barriques, separately, parcel by parcel. Subsequently the wine ages for 20 months in almost entirely new French oak barrels.

It has an intense cherry red color. The nose opens with evident aromas of cherry, raspberry, black currant and dried cherry tomatoes, enriched with notes of roast beef and alpine pine. On the palate it is pleasantly fruity on a well-structured tannic texture, with hints of aromatic herbs, tarragon and carambola in the finish.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
