Very ripe and deep on the nose it shows notes of black plums, plums, dark chocolate and cumin. Lots of nutmeg describes the secondary scene. Medium-full body, smooth tannins and an honest and genuine finish. Drink now.

Description
The Romitorio red wine from Castello Romitorio is a Supertuscan made from Syrah and Petit Verdot grapes.
The grapes are harvested and selected by hand, and then vinified in steel. Aging takes place for 12 months in oak barrels.
Romitoro is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of cherry and plum, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of vanilla and toasted mocha. On the palate it is pleasantly persistent, with well-present but elegant tannins and a balanced acidity.
Perfect to accompany stewed and grilled red meats.
