Description
Ruffino's Toscana Rosso Modus Primo was born in the vineyards located in the Poggio Casciano estates.
It is produced with Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for 18 months and for a further 3 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red colour. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of ripe cherries, orange peel, vanilla, sweet tobacco and spices. On the palate it is structured, with velvety and silky tannins. The wine has a persistent finish with an aftertaste of black berried fruits and cocoa.
Perfect to accompany red meats and stewed and roasted game.
