Description
The Toscana Rosso di Luce della Vite is born in vineyards located in the splendid setting of the hills of Montalcino, in Tuscany.
It is produced with Merlot and Sangiovese grapes, harvested between September and October and fermented in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks at a temperature below 30 ° C for 12 days. The wine is left to macerate on the skins for about 4 weeks, then undergoes the malolactic fermentation process in barrique. It then ages in oak barrels for 24 months before being bottled.
It is a wine with a dark and concentrated ruby red color. The nose opens with complex and intense hints of fresh fruits, such as black currant and raspberry, followed by sweet notes of vanilla. In the mouth it is pleasantly fresh, with fruity and floral flavors enriched with interesting spicy and smoked notes. Wine with a great structure, thanks also to the dense and velvety tannic texture, it is long on the finish giving a persuasive mineral and spicy note. Overall it is a wine that has a great balance between freshness and power.
Perfect to accompany red meats, especially cooked on the grill or on the grill, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
