Description

Lotto Unico by Terrescure represents an exceptional achievement in the company's wine production, born in parallel with Bernardeschi , another jewel of the cellar, but with a more structured, full-bodied and intense character.

Its blend sees a prevalence of Sangiovese, the symbolic vine of Tuscany, flanked by Merlot, which adds roundness and softness. The harvest takes place by hand in the second half of September, after which there is soft pressing and fermentation with 14 days of maceration on the skins. Part of the production is aged in French oak barriques for 9-12 months.

The result is a wine with an intense ruby red color. The nose reveals an intense aroma of spices, punctuated by hints of red fruits. The taste is full-bodied and intense, with soft tannins and a long tasting persistence.

This wine pairs beautifully with red meat second courses and mature cheeses.
