Description
The Pinot Noir of Tuscany The Chiuso di Castello di Ama is born in vineyards located on the hills between Gaiole and Radda in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico.
It is produced with Pinot Noir clones from Morey-Saint-Denis in Burgundy. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for about 2-3 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 12 months and for a further period in the bottle.
It is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with typical Pinot Noir aromas, with hints of strawberry, cherry and blueberries. On the palate it is fresh, with a pleasantly harmonious and complex body.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with first courses and aged cheeses.
