Toscana IGT Rosso Governo all'Uso Toscano Neropece 2021 Terrescure

Terrescure's Government all'Uso Toscano Neropece is a wine that captures the essence of a contemporary and bold Tuscany. Its intense, pitch-like color is certainly not usual.

Result of a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, it is the result of a manual harvest that takes place in the second half of September. Part of the grapes is dried for 10 days, contributing to the intensity of the aromas and the structure of the final wine. The soft pressing and maceration of the skins for 2 weeks allow the extraction of an intense color and polyphenols. The winemaking process ends with a 3-4 month refinement in barrique.

Intense ruby red in colour, it offers the nose an elegant aroma of red fruit. In the mouth it is full-bodied, rich and creamy, with a long and deep finish.

Excellent to pair with a pizza or spicy cheeses, it is perfect in the company of second courses of red meat.
