Description

Tua Rita's Giusto di Notri is a red wine born in Alta Maremma, in the area of the metalliferous hills. The grapes come from vineyards that rest on predominantly clayey soils and with a conspicuous presence of skeleton. The company was born in 1984, when Rita and Virgilio bought 2 hectares of vineyards, which over the years have become 30.

Following the manual harvest, the grapes are vinified in steel vats at a controlled temperature. Ageing takes place in French wooden barriques for 18 months, and then ends in the bottle for a few more months before being put on the market.

Deep ruby red in colour, the nose opens on ripe red fruit, with tertiary aromas reminiscent of graphite and balsamic. On the palate it is overwhelming, with a warm and enveloping taste, with structured tannins and a long finish.

Ideal in combination with tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, wild boar stewed with olives or with roasted larded pheasant.
