Description
The Toscana Rosso from Tenuta di Collosorbo is a fresh and fruity red wine, composed mainly of Sangiovese grapes, with small percentages of Cabernet and Merlot. It expresses a balanced and easy-drinking character, with a lively acidity and soft tannins that give the palate a silky and pleasant sensation.
The harvest is done manually, with a rigorous selection of the best grapes. After a soft pressing and destemming, the fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with frequent pumping over. The wine is then refined for about a year in Slavonian and French oak barrels, followed by a short rest in the bottle.
On the nose there are notes of red fruits, such as cherry and black cherry. In the mouth it is soft and velvety, with a fresh and harmonious taste. The balanced structure and silky tannins make it particularly pleasant to drink on any occasion.
This red wine is perfect both as an aperitif and paired with light meat dishes and tasty first courses.
