Description

The Rosso Rosso Castello del Terriccio of Castello del Terriccio was born in vineyards located on the rolling Tuscan hills, in the magical castle, from which the name of the company derives, built in medieval times.

It is produced with Syrah, Petit Verdot and other red grapes, harvested only by hand during the second half of September. Fermentation takes place at 30 ° C for 18 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 22 months before being bottled.

The Castello del Terriccio is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with a rich balsamic bouquet, with spicy notes and pleasant hints of blackberry and black currant. On the palate it has a long finish of mint and pleasantly silky tannins.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with first courses and aged cheeses.
