Description
The Campo di Magnacosta red wine from Tenuta di Trinoro is a wine produced by Andrea Franchetti, who created a model estate in the 1990s, with the intention of producing great wines. The choice fell on a wild and uncultivated area of the Val d'Orcia, deep in the Tuscan hinterland. In terms of climate and soil composition, the area has proved to be particularly suitable for the main international varieties and in particular for the Bordeaux vines.
The wine is a pure Cabernet Franc, whose grapes are fermented for 15 days in steel tanks. The wine then ages for 6 months in French oak barrels and then remains for another year in cement tanks.
It has an intense ruby red color and conquers with fruity aromas of black fruits such as blueberry and blackberry, as well as spicy notes. The sip reveals structure and elegance, fine tannins and a persistent finish.
To be combined with red meats and game, as well as with dishes that use mushrooms in the preparation.
